We
are working together with Davies & Son (established
in 1803), the oldest tailors in Savile Row, London,
a high level bespoke tailoring training project in China.
Davies & Son, by 1900, was making suits for all
the Royal families of Europe, mainly because of the
patronage of the Prince of Wales and King George V.
They are also official tailors and the only tailors
to the Foreign Office. They make all the uniforms for
English Ambassadors, Governor Generals and Lord Lieutenants.
The famous customers that they have made for over the
years have been the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales,
King George V, King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor, Kings
of Spain, Denmark, Greece and Portugal, Robert Peel
(who started the British Police Force), Douglas Fairbanks
Jnr, Bing Crosby, President Kennedy, President Truman,
Benny Goodman, Sir Oswald Mosley, John Thaw (Inspector
Morse), John Hurt and Ant & Dec (television stars)......
