Producing goods in China does not always go smoothly. In spite of using independent Inspection Companies, and using known suppliers, there can be a difference between the customer's expectations, and the quality produced. This is where a dispute can occur, which can lead to a stand off where the customer either wants a refund, a discount, or to have the goods made again. Meanwhile, the factory in China, having already received the money is reluctant to comply with any suggestion of a refund. This is a rare occurence, but it can be very difficult negotiating a settlement with a supplier 6000 miles away, without legal representation.
